Most of my students have severe ADHD. When they sit in traditional classroom chairs, they sit inappropriately and can potentially hurt themselves. Wobble chairs will provide a form of flexible seating that is both safe and practical. When kids sit on the Wobble Chair,s they have to use their core muscles to maintain stability and keep from tipping to one side or the other. These chairs will help my active student move while they work. My students will use wobble cushions as another option of flexible seating. They will use them during restorative circle time. Just like wobble chairs, these cushions will provide an avenue for movement while they are sittiing on the ground.
