Kindergarten students in library end up kneeling at their seats because the chairs are too high for them. They really need some child appropriate alternate seating, so they are comfortable while they work and play. The stools will give them a choice of where to sit while listening to stories, or working with partners. Flexible seating will allow students to be more comfortable and able to focus on their work. An uncomfortable student is easily distracted. The classroom environment can have a direct impact on student learning. I would love for my students to have the choice of a comfortable, kid friendly chair.
