I am so excited to have headphones for each of my students. Our computer lab often does not have working headphones due to the large number of students that use them. We often have to borrow headphones from other classroom's or take turn on Istation due to the lack of headphones. With enough headphones for each child we will be able to all spend time learning on IStation during our designated IStation time. The Listening Center will be such a great addition to our classroom. We currently do not have a listening center so the children are not able to spend that time listening to stories during centers. It will also provide more options during center time and allow them the opportunity to be exposed to more stories beyond my read alouds. The headphones for IStation and the listening station will help improve listening skills, literacy, and vocabulary for all students in my classroom.
