I have a small collection of piano keyboards that I use for the entire school (800+ students) so each child can experiment with and learn how to play the piano. Like most of my students I grew up in poverty and my parents could have never given me private lessons. But a neighbor lady had a piano and she took me to piano lessons each week and let me go to her home every day for 30 minutes to practice. I want to give that opportunity to my kids! I want to plant seeds and let them achieve their dreams of playing an instrument. So I need 7 more pianos so I can teach a full class of students and maximize the learning potential for every child I teach. Time is short. I only see my students once every 6 school days. It is vital that they have as much hands on time as possible. You don't learn much by sitting and waiting for your turn! You learn by getting your fingers on the keys and letting them do the walking!
