Flexible Seating will give my students options for a better learning environment. Consequently, Yoga Balls, Wobble Cushions, and stools will improve my students' overall engagement in the classroom. Currently, students stand and flow through their newly learned Yoga poses in the hallways! Our classroom Yoga Mats have allowed students to defuse lunch and recess energy. It would be helpful if students had Yoga Balls, Wobble Cushions, and stools to improve focus and learning. Students are excited about this new found love for Yoga and having mats along with flexible seating will be an addition to their Yoga practice and make their learning limitless! Our goal is to develop and maintain a mindful attitude throughout the day. Moreover, we will work with a Yoga group to incorporate Yoga with our curriculum and focus heavily on the social-emotional learning aspect so that students can concentrate better and gain confidence.
