These interactive science materials will encourage my students to be more involved in lessons. Students will have more hands-on experience during our buildings unit (engineering) by using these materials to plan, build, and then to test their creation to see if it worked. This STEM station will help students think on higher levels, as well as, give them a better understanding of how structures are built, why it is important to have a plan when building, and how important it is to plan properly in order to create a strong lasting structure. It also allows them to use analysis and reasoning skills while building and testing their structures.
