Our PPCD (Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities) serves special education children ages 3-5 at an elementary school. Typically, our students are able to focus better, interact better with peers and adults, and understand what their day will be comprised of when they have a picture schedule to guide them. With limited vocabulary, students know what is going to happen and can use the pictures to point to when they are unable to verbalize what they want or need. By laminating these pictures, it preserves them and creates "Shiny Happy Papers and People!"
