My students have never had the opportunity to code or use technology much. Recently, after a conference I attended, I discovered Code.org and my students have enjoyed it so much. They beg me daily to get on and do it. They call me over to see what they have programmed the computer to do. Botley will provide my students to opportunity to put these skills to the test and actually code a real life robot. We have nothing like this in our class and they would be thrilled to have a chance to do real life coding. Because they have not had the chance to do coding or use technology, Botley is the perfect choice since the age group is starting at five. They do not have to have previous experience to run him and now they would have the chance to build upon the skills they are learning.
