After planting a small garden with my individual class I would love to share their excitement with the entire school. I would love to see all our students feel pride in their hard work that comes with planting a garden. Our students face hard challenges when it comes to grasping science concepts because of their limited exposure of nature. With the materials requested they can germinate their own seeds and watch them grow into plants while learning about a plant's life cycle. A garden will also help them learn the power of water and wind, erosion, and the water cycle. Our students can also learn how to care of something besides themselves.
