The stem(science, technology, engineering, and math) and steam (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) activities will allow my students to show their creativity, collaboration, critical thinking and communication skills. Stem/steam activities allow for real innovation that is highly important for students to be on a path to success. Stem/steam will allow my students to not just be technology consumers, but technology inventors! This will carry over to building self-confidence which will build the bridge to academic and social-emotional gains. I plan to incorporate the stem/steam activities daily in various subject areas. Students will have the opportunity to select stem/steam projects of their choice from the classroom kits that are available. I am looking forward to supplying a road to my students that will lead them to compete with their global counterparts of the 21 century.
