The students are doing a leaning project about tigers. The students picked tigers out of 15 different zoo animals. They are excited about tigers and love watching the tiger cam from different zoos around the US. We are going to learn about one of the environments that tigers live in and how they survive. We are going to read books about tigers, do activities about what tigers eat and how they move, and at the end the students will be able to make their own tiger using clay. The books purchased will tell the students different stories about tigers and the different tigers, plush and legos, will give students opportunities for dramatic play activities. The clay will help the students make tigers for the final part of the project. Having the hands on materials will truly help the students have a better learning experiences.
