Many of the students I work with are falling behind due to the lack of supplies during this pandemic. These materials will make it easier for me to interact with my students both virtually and in-person when we return to the building. This project will help me interact with my students who are lacking technology needs. By being able to set up a second monitor, I can meet with more than one student at a time whether it is in person or remotely. Right now I am meeting with students and families on ZOOM. The hotspots and webcam will greatly help my students and me connect. When we return to full hybrid, this will allow me to give students supplies and it will help me collect data and keep it in one place, which in turn it will help me compile data reports to track the progress of my students and relay them to the administration as well as Department of Education. I work with students who need documents printed and with printer ink, this will allow me to stay in my office during this unpredictable time. My goal is to help students be successful in high school and to stay on track so that they walk proudly across the stage at the end of 4 years. These times are unpredictable and I want to do everything I can to make my students feel safe and successful.
