My students are curious, caring, and committed to helping their community. Over half our students are Native American and 100% of our students learn our local Native American language during elementary school. Every student in our class has a goal for not only their future, but for helping make our community great! They loving learning, especially getting to try and experience new things. Our kids are very interested in reading, science, and engineering. Our community is isolated, but our students are always looking for opportunities to experience new things and share their knowledge with others. Our school is located in a very small, rural community in Southern Oregon. Although our school is small, we create pilot programs in academics, community involvement, and culture that are used and shared throughout our large district.
