My first graders may wiggle and wobble but they are fiercely smart. In my classroom, we use every square inch to provide different learning environments. Having flexible seating would not only enhance these environments, but also help students that struggle with attention and focus. By donating to this project, you not only provide us with awesome options for seating, but you will also make a direct impact on the students' growth and achievement. As a first grade teacher, I can tell you that not every student works the same way. Not everyone reaches their full potential by sitting in a chair. Some students work best by standing, others may need a wobble pad or to sit on the carpet. I want to provide my students with many different options while they're working, such Wobble Chairs, floor seats, and Wobble Cushions, in order to figure out what works best for them. This way, when they're given the opportunity to work independently, they can make a smart choice for how to successfully complete their work.
