My school will be returning to onsite learning in September (after three weeks of virtual learning), with 50% of students remaining off campus. This presents unique challenges, particularly in my rural community, where Internet connection can often be difficult for many students to access. My students have been out of physical school for nearly half a year. When they return, I want to make my classroom environment as welcoming and conducive to learning as possible. I want students to feel safe in my room and able to reach their fullest potential. I am looking for lamps to make my windowless classroom more comfortable and inviting, books, headphones for listening to readings, alcohol wipes for disinfecting desks and computers, and anything else that would make my classroom as welcoming and safe as possible for my students so they can truly shine.
