This year we have started blending learning on Chromebooks. The programs are interactive and have sound. Headphones are a must for listening to the audio sections of the activities. It is challenging to hear the directions and teaching when the headphones are not working properly. Students miss out on the content when the volume is low. For the remainder of the students who are participating in a different activity, it can be distracting to have ten different noises going on around them. Headphones will reduce the noise in the classroom and library and allow all students to concentrate. We are looking for some quality materials that will allow us to continue to use technology for learning.
