Studies have shown that simply by using different color paper or by printing in color people are more likely to read and pay attention to colored text. This is especially true for kids. We want a colored printer so that we can make printouts that pop out with color to grab the kids attention. As teachers we go through so many copies, but we are usually limited to black and white. My 1st graders need color to get their attention. Also, if I am using our projector I cannot be anchored to my computer while teaching. I need to be up and moving around the classroom. The presentation clicker will allow me to teach kids while moving around the room.
