Books are always good for children to have because it is a way to bring words to life while children learn from them I will use the life cycle books so children can get to see how the life cycle of bugs begin. My science area is one of my most effective areas in the class so to be able to put more hands-on objects will boost their awareness about science. To be able to teach young children motion and how objects can effect the way things operate is a good way to start to build their scientific ability. I will use the motion discovery tubes to demonstrate to children how motion works and then let them be able to explore ways motion can work. One of my worst subjects to learn was science and I think it was because I was never really provided any hands-on experiences as a child. So to be able to introduce science as an hands-on experience for these early young learners will help boost their scientific ability to become scientist. The materials I requested will be used show children how science works. I will use the color changing touch board so children can see how heat is transferred to change the board colors. The color discovery tubes will be used so children can see that colors change when mixing colors together, and the magnification discovery kit so children can explore things that can or cannot stick to the magnets and explore the reasons why.
