These materials will help keep Kindle Fire tablets protected and charged so students will be able to check them out from the library. The charging station will be located in the library and all kindles will be plugged in when they are not checked out. Additionally, if a student would like to charge their Kindle during the day, they will be able to do that so they can read at home. Protecting our resources will allow our students access to many more books and information sources than we currently have. The Kindles will provide access to a shared digital collection providing students much more to read. It will also help students who currently have difficulty reading as they will be able to access books more suited to their ability level. It is going to be important to protect the Kindles from damage so more students can have access to them.
