Having a carpet with a designated space for each child will give them a sense of personal space. It will give them a comfortable place on the floor where they can come for morning meetings, story time, and flexible learning time, a time in our day where they can find an alternative place to complete their work. It gives students an easy to understand place which will make transitions smoother. It will be a place that is dedicated just to them. Besides the carpet giving students a sense of personal space, it will also allow students to be assigned to a spot to help learning be more efficient.
