The mission of the Collinsville High School Comprehensive School Counseling Program is to promote a positive school climate by empowering ALL students to be self-advocates, which will give them necessary skills to be independent and responsible for their academic success, college and career planning, and social/emotional well-being. Ultimately, creating successful and confident citizens who will be active, contributing members of the community. As advocates for our students, we strive for equity and access for all. The CHS Counseling Department serves as a bridge for our students, transitioning them to a successful and productive post-secondary life. We believe collaboration with school, family, and community is essential to best equip our students with the necessary tools to reach their potential and function successfully in the world.
