A faculty member and I recently decided that we wanted to create a competitive chess club at our school. Our school has never had a chess club before and we wanted to provide another opportunity for students in our school district to get involved. We have a lot of students who love the game of chess and play very well. I want to take their chess game to the next level! The students need chess clocks in order to practice proper tournament play, learn about timed matches and Blitz chess. Having a chess demo board will also be beneficial for instructional purposes when teaching strategies and tactics to my students as a whole group. The bags will be used to store our tournament boards and transport the boards and clocks to and from chess competitions. All donations are greatly appreciated and will help immensely in my students' preparation for competitions.
