My students are an eager group of a 3 and 4-year-olds, who enjoy coming to school and learning. We have a full classroom of 17 students, who love hands on activities and getting their hands dirty. They're an expressive group who loves dancing and singing along to every song from the movie, Moana! Our classroom is one of diversity, with half of our students coming from Spanish speaking homes. In our Head Start classroom, our students come first as we guide them through their first school experiences. We help foster social skills; making friends, solving conflicts, having manners, as well as reading and writing, and an interest in learning something new, while using a play-based curriculum.
