The books I have chosen are high quality books which are very much in demand at the moment. They will be added to my current collection in my classroom. Books go onto my library shelves to be borrowed by students. This way, students can take the books home to read. I usually do a Book Talk about each new book to stir up demand for it. I require my students to do a Book Talk Video on a book they have completed each quarter. We make sure to watch each and every video to hold students accountable to each other. Books are so important to me and help to teach the students empathy and the ability to feel and share what others are going through.
