Students need an escape! What better way to block out the world, expand their vocabulary, and become more fluent analytical thinkers and problems solvers all while going places by reading a book!! Parting the first page of a book and beginning to read the first line, then the first page then the first chapter and so on allows students to expand their knowledge and provide information to discuss, reason and defend. Which in return helps cultivate a well rounded, knowledgeable young individual. Having a shelf full of high interest novels for them to choose from is vital to the places they'll go!!!
