Our school is comprised of over 1,600 students from various backgrounds. We are a growing community that works to provide our students and children with the best education possible. Currently, I teach 6th- 8 grade Reading and Language Arts in a co-teach environment. My students have an increased academic need since I serve students who have dyslexia, dysgraphia, autism, and students who are English language learners. These students are energetic, compassionate, helpful, and hard-working. With the right tools, they will be able to surpass goals that are set for them and goals that they set for themselves. Because of Hurricane Harvey, the students in our community have had to endure a very challenging year. Many of our students lost their homes and valuable items. The project donations that are requested will allow our students to advance their educations and will help to mold them into productive members of society.
