By providing flexible seating options, my students will have the opportunity to choose the learning environment that best fits their individual needs. Students should not be expected to sit in one place for too long! Stability balls will help more active students stay engaged. Floor cushions will provide the opportunity for small groups to work closely together during projects and math games. These. can be used along with the lap desks to create a learning space. The bean bag chairs will provide a quiet learning space in our library, not too mention they are fun! I am excited to implement this new learning environment in my classroom, and hope to continue to add to our flexible seating options as the year goes on.
