Incorporating technology engages students. My students need to be able to use technology to make their own artwork and critique their artwork. Especially in these times where art education is in crisis, I feel lucky to be able to bring stellar art education to the community I serve. I plan to use the tablet to video record my students critiquing their artwork with Screencastify and students creating graphic drawings with SketchBook. There is so much more that the future can hold. Also the tablet will be used to make student portfolios by taking pictures and using Google Classroom to turn in artwork. As well as students making demonstration videos for students to use with Screencastify.
