I have chosen a three seating options, along with tables to enhance the learning environment for my students. The wobble cushions, wobble stools and stability balls allow the students to still wiggle and work at the same time. These are great options for students that struggle with sitting in a traditional school chair. Many of my students struggle with being able to sit in the "standard" chair in the classroom and they welcome the chance to sit somewhere else in the room when they are working independently or in small groups throughout the day. You will find them laying on the floor, working cooperatively on the carpeted area with clipboards, sitting at the computer tables, making use of the kidney shaped table that we use for small group instruction and even working at my desk when they are able too. I'd like to continue to foster their creativity and curiosity while giving them options to be able to effectively work independently or cooperatively with others.
