The Read Aloud books that I am requesting for my students already have a plan in place when I will be reading each book throughout the year. In other words, I have a long range plan that connects with my compassion unit. We just need your help in getting all these Read Aloud books here before the school year begins. My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in reading. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interest of my students. Students in my classroom like to read about characters that look or think like them. I have a large collection of books, but not as many African American and Asian American characters so I would like to have books that will hold their interests and keep them reading in my classroom.
