The research behind allowing children to choose how and where they learn is astounding. Many children, especially kindergarten age, are not comfortable sitting in a chair for hours a day and doing work. The expectations put on these little people is insane. I want to allow students to take control of their learning and allow them to make their own choice in what that looks like. The bath mats and clip boards will allow students to go wherever they need to in order to focus and produce their best work. I teach in a low income school where parent volunteer and donation is slim to none. I would love to be able to give my students the best of the best.
