About my class

I chose these materials because students at my school are always showing more success when they have hands-on learning. The dolls will help my students achieve success in language barriers they have. Language barriers hold them back at times from truly understanding what is happening in the classroom. These dolls will give me the opportunity to see what language skills I need to address. My students will be thrilled to used these items in the classroom! The magnetic dry erase board will give my students opportunities to learn sight words, their alphabet, and phonics interventions. This item will be used in their sight word/alphabet center to prepare them for reading. Additionally, the Bridge Building Engineering Center, Log Builders, and Flexi Blocks will help them develop fine motor skills needed in Kindergarten. Some students come lacking this skill and this will help make Kindergarten smooth. I have found that they achieve more success when given the opportunity to apply what they have learned. These materials will help my students achieve the success they need during Kindergarten.
