Our current bass drum stand has four wheels and two of them are stripped so they fall off each day when the bass drum is moved. I recently told a student, "Remember the good old days when only one wheel fell off?". When students have access to quality equipment, they can focus on musicianship rather than fixing their equipment. The bass drum stand we want to purchase is suspended so it will allow our students to play with better posture and at different angles. The students will be able to "personalize" the bass drum. Up to this point, the stand we have been using has been "one size fits most", so to speak.
