My students need a bean bag chair for our cool down area, 4 exercise balls, a ball inflator and a set of 5 soft seats to use instead of sitting on the floor or chairs. Flexible seating can assist my students in staying focused, contributing and interacting during our lessons which will result in overall learning. My students are excited to learn and grow and have various disabilities. Unlike most typical peers, many of my students require frequent stimulation and movement to help maintain focus for longer periods of time. I have invested in a few wobble chairs and have been pleased with the effect they have had on my students and am now wanting to expand the types of flexible seating I have to include a bean bag chair for a cool down area, soft seats for carpet time and exercise balls.
