We currently only have one student computer in our classroom and the students love using it for learning. I would like the opportunity to offer them more technology. These Chromebooks will allow students to work together on projects. Small groups will use the computers to research, design PowerPoint presentations, or look up information. Students will be able to take Accelerated Reading quizzing without having to wait so long. These reading quizzes help reinforce comprehension and understanding. There is an endless list of possibilities with computers - from online learning to virtual field trips! If students are absent, they will have the opportunity to complete interactive math tutorials online or our virtual science labs through our textbook publishers. Students need this technology to prepare them for the future!
