Every classroom in our school has a Quiet Down Corner to help students de-escalate when they are anxious or stressed. The Quiet Down corner contains a set of noise blocking headphones. These headphones are very popular and my students want to use them all the time when working or taking a test. It is difficult sharing one pair with an entire class. Our 3rd grade class is in a new portable that is quite small and the headphones will allow my students to focus when working independently during our center rotations. The headphones will also be used when taking any test.
