The use of yoga gear will happen everyday. This class is designed to help students who have experienced multiple types of trauma to find peace and calm in their school day and beyond. The music and mindfulness activities will help students who have experienced trauma to become proactive and not reactive in their choices toward academic success and beyond. This class is designed to help our students understand that they are in control of their bodies and minds, they are more than capable of making positive choices toward academic and personal achievement. Our goal at Metro Academy is to empower all of our students to be the best that they can be, by placing the right tools in their hands.

About my class
