There are so many students coming into our classrooms with special needs. Giving them a variety of options for seating enables those with social emotional behaviors and as well as physical needs the ability to choose for themselves which seating is most beneficial for them to most effectively stay engaged. Wobble Chairs, soft seats, flex-space lap desks, and flex-space balance balls give students the best possible seating options for the most optimal learning positions. Some students need to move while not disrupting other children. Some students need to be on the floor. Every child is unique. Using these flexible seating styles gives students the opportunity to increase engagement and therefore increase learning.
