Forty students attend my advanced art class. After 2 years of skill development, they are prepared to explore advanced concepts that connect to their intellectual and personal experiences. Our post-Katrina life offers many thematic possibilities. They reached a point where they are equipped with the skills to express themselves, but they are lacking the supplies. Our students are artists in the making, if we provide them with the oil paint and supplies that they need. They have a huge potential. Thank you so much for giving us the 8 sets of oils! I can't wait to send you the picture of the next exhibit, Donor! When you see these, you'll think: "I'm so glad I could provide these kids with the tools that they need. It was totally worth it!" Thank you for your support!
