Teaching is going to provide a whole new set of challenges for our students but I am determined to give my Kindergarten students the best experience possible. Recess is going to look very different this year so some creativity will be necessary to make it work. By creating individual outdoor play kits for my students we will still be able to have fun outside! Balance pods can be used to work on our strength and balance, chalk for creativity and building fine motor skills, bean bags and ring toss have endless possibilities, and all 5 year olds love bubble fun! I am hoping these different activities will give my students a variety of options for both PE and recess that will keep their interest, allow for creativity, and most importantly still allow them to have the experiences we would have had during a normal Kindergarten day!
