These books will give my students many more options for their appropriate reading levels for independent reading. They will keep their interests peaked while reading about interesting topics and age appropriate stories that a high school student would enjoy. These new books will increase their reading ability, knowledge about the topics they're reading, and their overall academic achievement. Both the biographical series and the 'Discovery Eyewitness' books can also help all of my English Language Learning (ELL) students by providing pictures for them to make connections with the text. The "Stepping Stones" books will help my students get a grasp for true classics at their own reading level.

About my class
