I want to welcome and provide a friendly and inviting Kindergarten classroom for my students. By having a classroom carpet, my students will have an assigned space for them to sit on during whole group instruction as well as be able to play on during center time. A bright and colorful carpet will make my classroom feel more comfortable and help them be able to focus during instruction. The carpet will be used daily during our whole group learning and also during reading. We are also asking for a safe and sturdy shelving for our books. A bookshelf is desperately needed in my classroom to house our classroom library. My students love to read books! Our classroom books need a durable home and an area that is easily accessible to the students. The book shelf should be able to hold a good portion of our books and help them from bending.
