Students engage in their learning when they are given a choice of where to sit in their learning environment. My students’ learning styles require that they have many opportunities for movement. All of these alternative-seating opportunities are beneficial to students' learning because it motivates them to work at their potential. I want to create a classroom that empowers students to take charge of their learning by providing alternative seating for them. The flexible seating will enhance their learning by allowing them to choose an area of the room that allows them to focus. The products that I have selected will help my students get the wiggles out while increasing their engagement in learning. The wobble stools and wobbly cushions are essential to students that require movement. It helps them focus on their work. The adjustable lap table, when placed on a desk or table, will allow students to stand while working. For those students who prefer a quiet corner to work in the adjustable floor chairs let them move to that special place.
