My vision for this project is to get necessary technology and listening center materials into my classroom such as iPads, a document camera and books with matching cd’s. The supplies are needed and would be used on a daily basis. We need more technology. iPads would enhance literacy for my students. This technology would help them become more literate and prepare them for college, careers, and beyond. My students love to use technology and enjoy websites such as Starfall which is a website that has all subject areas and Myon which is our online library where they can read books or have books read to them. Having iPads available for them to use would be a great way to help them become more independent with using technology. The document camera would also be a great addition to my classroom so we can use it to display modeled work and also showcase their completed work to the whole class. My students also enjoy listening to stories so adding to my listening library will help expand the choices they have to listen to and read. I want it all for my student and I often buy them what they need. This project is beyond my budget and I need lots of help. Please consider giving my students technology to help them thrive in K-11.
