Although my students come from various backgrounds and home situations, most of my students are considered low income and cannot afford to purchase quality copies of books on their own and their own educational technology. My kids are elementary schoolers who have big dreams and goals for their lives but need the abilities and experiences to achieve those goals and become thoughtful critical thinkers that impact their communities. Right now, they are changing our school, later their middle and high schools, then their college campuses, and finally their families and local communities. Please help me allow each child to have experiences in our library that they will not have elsewhere. Help turn our library into an inviting makerspace where kids learn new skills every day.
