I am a Teach For America alumni teacher, a service organization dedicated to end educational inequity. I firmly believe that all children deserve to have an opportunity to attain an excellent education. My students deserve the same opportunities that other children in this country have. They love to learn about math and science and get extremely excited when I bring in materials to do science experiments. It is very frustrating for me as a teacher to feel like I am limiting my students' growth because of lack of resources. Having more resources in the classroom will give my students access and enhance their learning.
