I really need a document camera so I can model outlining, research and study skills. It's very difficult to show students non-fiction text that they can manipulate using chart paper. Students would really benefit from the modeling that this would provide them. My students would use the DOCUMENT CAMERA to be able to see the writing, and reading opportunities with interactive markups which students can ENGAGE in my thought process so they can better understand concepts. I would be able to model writing and text on the document camera and show students how to label and analyze it so they could find the main idea, and important details.
