A vital part of language learning is being able to hear clear models of the target language and to practice oral language with feedback. The dedicated listening center in our classroom often competes with other group activities. My students have difficulty listening and speaking while using the online English language program because our current headsets do not have noise-cancelling abilities. Students get frustrated and distracted. The Califone noise-cancelling headsets will allow my students to hear the target language and practice their oral skills without being distracted by our busy, interactive ESOL classroom. This will increase student focus and motivation, and increase learning.
