Lego 3-in-1 sets provide three different writing tasks per creation. These Lego sets will support my students as they write informational writing and specifically "How-To" writing while they work on sequencing. These sets will be used in a writing station to engage reluctant writers through using high-interest manipulatives in the writing process. Students will build the sets and then write directions and "How-To" pieces of writing. This project will remind students of the joy of writing! They will learn to be specific and clear in their writing as they have their peers follow their directions and try to recreate their creation.
