The soccer goals will bring our new recess period to a level of excitement that we have not seen before. Until this time we have used cones for goals. Cones do not stop the ball from traveling far. Our outdoor play space is small and we are dividing it into different play areas. If the soccer balls are caught in the goals, other students will be safe from being hit with the soccer balls. Their recess period will invigorate and energize the students so they will have more stamina for learning throughout the day. Our goal is to get the students to move as much as possible. An official designated soccer area will help us meet this goal. We also offer an afterschool soccer program. These goals can be used for double duty after school. Children take pride in being on a team, especially one that has real soccer goals, not cones. Please help us educate the whole child. Exposure to sports produces healthier, happier kids. If you played soccer, you know how important having the right equipment can be. These goals will help our recess period to be safe and exciting for grades 3rd -8th. Our students will love soccer and the benefits it generates. Please consider making a difference to the health and well-being of our students. Thank you.
